Our Story
Shiva began in 1995 as Milan's first Indian take-away. A year later it opened as a restaurant on the Navigli, with a cuisine that comes from the north, from the Punjab. Over thirty years it has become one of the city's most loved, thanks to its traditional tandoor oven, fresh spices, and a vegetarian offering that is second to none.

We're at Viale Gian Galeazzo 7, on Piazza XXIV Maggio, just steps from the Darsena. This is where the Navigli district begins — one of Milan's liveliest, among historic canals and venues that come alive in the evening. Inside, a historic Milanese building with the atmosphere of North India. Open every day for lunch and dinner, except Monday at lunch.

Butter Chicken
